"Magnolia Media, LLC Set to Arrest The Flame!"

10% of companies profits to be donated to local fire and police departments.

by Anderson Lee

1978 - An eight year old boy began his first year at Alpharetta Elementary in the third grade.  While making new friends, the topic of Mommy and Daddy came up with said ages to follow.  He wondered why his parents were older than everyone else's but then let his mind roll into recess.
1980 - As fifth grade came to be, his best friend Davin Hook along with his mother were killed tragically in a car accident on HWY 9.It was at this time that the reality of death hit him and the question mark of third grade would be answered. While crying to his mother, he would come to find out that he actually had two older brothers he never came to know; Harvey; age 3 and Little Joe; age 1. They left this world in the 1960's by means of a fire; long before his grand arrival in 1970.

1999 - A phone call comes from a young man's mother.  It turns out that this young man's father had died tragically in a fire in much the same fashion that his two older brothers had some thirty years earlier.

2000 - A phone call comes from this man's mother speaking frantically that his younger brother Patrick had been in a car wreck. The man thinks it is nothing serious and tries to calm his mother down.  When he arrives at the hospital, he comes to find out that his younger brother's wreck was far more serious; including severe head trauma. The Doctors discuss. The Doctors meet with this man's family and relay that there is no hope and suggest that the machine should be turned off. This man insist that the machine will not be turned off for another 24 hours; This man's younger brother would not die on his own 25th birthday.

1990 - A young man's father always worked hard for his family. From real estate on one side to the corporate arena on the other, this Dad was setting himself up to be self-made in not many more years. Then a morning came that this young man would never forget.  A call came to his family that his father had been in a severe accident due to the negligence of a large trucking corporation.  Prayers were in high demand for many days after, hoping that this Dad would make it through to live another day. Thankfully, this Dad did make it through, only changed due to a severe brain injury from the wreck. Today, this Dad still lives a life, with the help of this man, his son.  Sometimes this son hears his father share an unexpected song or memory from the past. A glimmer of who he knows his Dad will always be in his heart.

"When we founded our company, we knew we wanted to give something back to each community that we did business in," Mr. Thompson shared. "Both Tim and I have seen first hand what Firemen and Police Officers do for families when tragedy strikes. In our view, they simply aren't appreciated enough and are sorely underpaid." Tim Enloe continued, "When I ran for office this past fall, I chose to not accept campaign donations. However, some supporters were insistent. Through this kindness, I set up the Milton Fire / Police Charitable fund hoping to implement it into the city. When the campaign season passed and another was elected, Scott made the suggestion to continue the fund through the company, and the rest was history."

The company will donate 10% of it's previous years profits with the first check to be given in January of 2008. When advertisers dig into their pockets as well, they will be listed in a special "Hat's Off" section that will showcase the person or company's kindness. When pressed as to where they would like to see the monies spent, Tim Enloe offered two possibilities; "Everyone always talks about how important it is to save for retirement. Thus, I would love to see these monies be channeled to help fund a progressive 401K benefits package of some sort. If the rest of corporate America has the option of a such a plan, then why should those who let us sleep easy a night be any different? Then again, maybe these funds could help cover the costs of hiring. There are some veteran North Fulton Officers & Firemen that I would love to keep in my neck of the woods."

Both gentlemen stressed that the company won't stop with the Milton fund. They are in the process of constructing Accessjohnsceek.com with the same community focus in mind. "Gang related crime is becoming more and more of a reality in the northern suburbs. If the monies that we donate can help protect these public servants with more and better equipment to deal with this type of activity, then it is all worth it," relayed Scott Thompson.
