73,000 Hits in AccessMilton.com's First Year.
by Anderson Lee
Milton, Georgia - AccessMilton.com; the #1 ranked website for
all things Milton, Georgia, has received over 73,000 hits in it's
first year. "Our success with Accessmilton.com has more the exceeded
our expectations," Magnolia Media Co-founder Scott Thompson was
quoted as saying. "While we knew the site would do well, we had no
idea we would triple our expected hit ratio. The reason for our
success is Milton's citizens - they email us daily and truly care
about their new city."
Changes and updates are a regular occurrence on the site. Recently,
the Magnolia Media staff added
"The Mayor's Gavel"; an interactive
forum for local discussions between Mayor Joe Lockwood and Milton's
24,000 citizens. "Gavel" also sits as a venue for the Mayor to give
updates about city business. "This addition offers an outlet for
Mayor and voter alike, " Mr. Thompson continued. "People lead busy
lives and this provides discussion at anyone's leisure."
Founded in February of 2006, Accessmilton.com is a website focused
on all aspects regarding one of the newest cities in Georgia. From
neighborhood reviews to the local political flavor to equestrian
riding, Accessmilton.com aims to please. "We are constantly looking
for ways to improve with more content, better navigation, and an
improved look. Citizen feedback has been crucial," responded
Co-founder Ginger Enloe. "What we have done here is unite local citizen
and local business alike under one roof at an
affordable rate."
Annual pre-paid agreements include a limited home page anchor option
at $365.00 to $150.00 for a simple web brochure, the site offers a
plan for any type of budget. Not all of the revenue goes to the
company's coffers. "10% of our profits will be donated to the Milton
Fire / Police Fund set up this past fall at IronStone Bank in
Alpharetta. We believe these individuals should be recognized and
appreciated to the highest degree. This is just a little something
from Magnolia Media to say thanks to these individuals for the
wonderful service they provide to the community," Ginger Enloe said.
Magnolia Media, LLC also runs other helpful sites including
www.knowga.com and plans on activating many more before the end of
2007.
